Your questions,
answered

Which are the communities connected?

The Church of the Holy Apostles Pimlico (London, UK) is twinned with the Todonyang Parish of the Missionary Community of Saint Paul the Apostle (Turkana, Kenya). The Pimlico and Todonyang communities are at the core of this bond. We are now a growing community of people across Europe connected with a growing community of people across Turkana.

Which schools do you sponsor?

We sponsor the St John Paul II day school in Todonyang, with 170 children. There are many more children needing education in Turkana, so we plan to expand the school to 260 children by 2029 and sponsor new schools.

Why do you sponsor child education in Turkana?

Turkana is a special place with special people. They have a strong culture, are extremely welcoming and are a vivid testimony of Christ. We have visited Turkana and seen Christ in children, who live in poverty and are joyful. We have also seen them suffering because the local government does not provide enough schools.

Sponsored schools provide the basics every children deserves. We invest in children because they are our future. We invest in the children of Turkana because we see Christ in these children.
